80% of the population in Papua New Guinea are from rural communities and lack of health information. Health education is paramount importance because health knowledge of educated mothers may promote the use of modern health services. It provides the mother with the information it needs to make healthy choices, prevent sickness or injury and building a better society. Some of the health education conducted at maternal waiting home are as follows:
